We always hope that the product you bought with The Idle Man is exactly to your liking. However, we know that sometimes a product might not be to your liking. In this case:
We offer a full 28 days from date of purchase to return your item(s) back to us for your choice of store credit or full refund. Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges. Please post your item back to us for a full refund and place another order online if you would like to exchange your goods.
To return an item, simply sign in to your The Idle Man account and select the order number containing the items you want to return. Then click the Return link and select items to return. If an item is faulty please also upload an image of the fault.
If done within 28 days your options will be refund or store credit. State a reason for your return and add comments if you wish. If you decide on a refund we will restore back to the card or Paypal account that was used for the transaction.
Unfortunately, after 28 days we can only refund through store credit.
Once we have authorized the return at THE IDLE MAN HQ, you will receive email confirmation, and you can then download and print our free returns label from your account page.
Attach your returns label on to the outside, and take to your local Postal depot.
If you choose to return your whole order which originally went out via express delivery with us, we’ll refund you the cost of standard shipping.
If you choose to return part of your order and this takes you under the £50 free delivery threshold you will be refunded the cost of the goods minus the appropriate shipping costs. The free shipping threshold applies to final total order value once all refunds are settled.
COLLECTPLUS (UK ONLY)
You can now use CollectPlus to return your unwanted items to us for free.
CollectPlus is a convenient way to return parcels via local shops, petrol stations, universities and shopping centres, and it is a service trusted by thousands of busy people every day. There are over 5,900 CollectPlus stores, including petrol stations, universities and shopping malls, open from early in the morning until late in the evening, 7 days a week.
Simply visit here to find your local CollectPlus store and to purchase your returns label for free. Enter your order number and your email address, then simply buy, print and attach the label to your parcel, ensuring any outbound delivery labels are removed or covered. Drop off your parcel in your chosen store, where you will be given a receipt with a tracking code. You can track your parcel here.
Please note, you must purchase and stick your returns label to your parcel before taking your parcel into a CollectPlus store. CollectPlus will not accept responsibility for parcels handed into a store without a CollectPlus returns label.
You can return parcels with cabin baggage dimensions 60 x 50 x50cm and up to 10 kg using CollectPlus.
You can text COLLECT and your postcode to 84555 (e.g. COLLECT WD17 1HP). Texts from 84555 are free to receive. Texts to 84555 are charged at your standard network rate. Full terms and conditions can be viewed here.
EASY INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Place the item(s) to be returned in a package (feel free to use the package or box your order arrived in, if it is still in suitable condition) along with your Order Number and Name, ensure the return address is clearly visible on the outside of the package and send it back to us.
Please note that International customers need to pay for their returns. The returned items will remain your responsibility until they are received by us, so be sure to ask for proof of postage in case your parcel goes missing in transit. It can take up to 21 working days for your return to be received and processed. Once we have received your return in its original condition we will email you to confirm receipt, and either order your alternatives or issue a refund. If you have requested a refund, this will typically take 5 days from receipt of returned items to process, dependent on bank/card issuer.
