Maison Labiche have decided to keep what they do very simple, not overlooking details but making sure not too much is going on. Displaying unique artistry, Maison Labiche have put their own mark on t-shirts and sweatshirts. The embroidery on their t-shirts and sweats reflects the consumers who buy their products. The chain stitch embroidery with notions such as ‘Notorious’ and ‘99 Problems’ synonymous with rap culture has been compiled with a very French look, ultimately a universal message within elegant French style. It’s not just the wording but also embroidered logos people can understand and appreciate. The quality of their material, especially their sweatshirts, is excellent with soft cotton being used for everything. While it doesn’t resemble a typical street wear brand and is more casual than a smart look, Maison Labiche certainly has their concept nailed to become a widely favoured brand beyond its Paris roots.

 

History of Maison Labiche

Late 2010 saw the beginning of the Maison Labiche brand. The brand was created in the spiritual home of fashion, Paris, by two friends who were a designer and a stylist. With the three foundations of the company being embroidery, savoir-faire and quality, Maison Labiche have continuously produced clothing that embodies those principles. On the brand’s fifth anniversary they opened their first store in the Paris 3rd arrondissement confirming their progression as a brand. With the help of creative director Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoléone Maison Labiche established their brand new logo, a Maison Labiche bobbin, connoting the importance of their use of embroidery.

Maison Labiche don’t just create embroidered t-shirts and sweatshirts, they also have a collection of other men’s staples and seasonal essentials. Their Coeur Brise Shirt is a button-down collar Oxford shirt with a subtle two colour broken heart embroidered to the chest. The new embroidered mottos of ‘Rebel Rebel’ and ‘Notorious’ continue their theme of subtle but relatable expressions on their t-shirts and sweatshirts.
