After a more than successful 2016, Ushuaïa Ibiza had a lot of expectations to live up to when they got the club running again. Saturday the 27th of May was the start of what's going to be a big year Ushuaïa, meaning the opening party had to be even bigger. With a lineup that included Eats Everything, UNER and ANTS favourite, Andrea Oliva, it was safe to say that things were shaping up to kick things off with a bang and, Ushuaïa did not disappoint.

An unbelievable opening set from Raul Rodriguez meant that the iconic Ushuaïa Opening Party kicked off in the perfect way. A melodic rhythm of tech house reverberated through Playa d'en Bossa like the party had never even stopped from last season. It's safe to say that Rodriguez had certainly set the tone for the rest of the day and was followed up by a powerhouse set from the incredible Francisco Allendes. With the party only having just started, up next was one of the most anticipated back-to-back sets of the season.

UNER got the party started and had the crowd moving from the very first kick drum

Davide Squillace and Martin Buttrich had the place rocking, providing some of the biggest and best drops of the day. Up next was UNER and the Spaniard had a large act to follow. He rose to the occasion like it was nothing and was swiftly followed by homegrown Bristol boy, Eats Everything who oversaw the transition from day to night. The melodies and drops that Eats Everything provided some of the most organic vibes of the day, making his prowess behind the decks well and truly known.

Next up was Paul Kalkbrenner, who's "Back to The Future" party was definitely being known besides the pool. An eclectic selection of techno, saw the German live performer set to push the boundaries, and the crowd, to new limits. All this led up to the finale that was Ushuaïa and ANTS favourite, Andrea Oliva close what had been an incredible day.

The Ushuaïa opening party legacy was well and truly kept going for 2017's party

After what had been an already amazing day, Andrea Oliva was sure to provide a fantastic closing set. The Austrian DJ moved the crowd as though he was a classical conductor. Each new song saw the last one outdone, providing an electric atmosphere that simply could not be faulted. With Ushuaïa's parties running all season, you can expect more of the same from this fantastic day party.
