With London prices, it's unlikely that you'll get to experience a well thought through and sophisticated menu at a 5* hotel. But that's all about to change with this wine-led pop-up.
Started by Neil Deacon, the menu for this London pop-up is based around the best British wines. The food is the second stage of the process, with Neil tasting a variety of foods with his chef, to see which combinations aid each other's flavours. From a raw mackerel amuse bouche with Chapel Down Bacchus Reserve 2015, and the wood pigeon main with Hush Heath Pinot Noir to the fresh apple tart dessert served with apple cider, all food is sourced locally and the wine combination explained before each meal.
Moving the venue from Stepney City Farm to Clerkenwell Kitchen in June, VINTwined is offering you both a delicious set or a la carte menu at an affordable price. The pop-up will be open from 7 pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during June (starting Thursday 1 June). The menu will also introduce new dishes and wines to keep you on your toes and coming back for more!
